Inspired by the huge and terrific success of Mario bros. game, Nintendo video game console inc. had to furnish sequel games to the historic debut that they did. Right after 5 years of initial breakthrough of Mario and Luigi, the Mario brothers (or, super Mario brothers as they are called); came the second throttle.
The game was initially known for its extreme level of difficulty. The game attained the status of black sheep of the entire Mario series somehow. Despite of few flakes, Mario brothers 2 did very well for it. It was run-away commercial success and was also very well acclaimed by critics alike.
From then, Mario brothers 2 have undergone many changes, developments and fine-tuning of technical problems. Many also called it as one of the very highly and most polished and one of the highly creative games of that gamine era. According to player’s choice, the game ranks among the best 3 of the lot.
